Blog Building

With my new Astro skills in my toolbox, I knew right where to get started. I headed back to the Astro Themes.

Theme

This time I decided to browse the Landing Page category, and found a theme that unlocked a memory about an SSH Shell themed personal site I was shown once. I changed my search to “terminal” and almost immediately saw what I was looking for.

I landed on the theme Spectre by Louis Escher.

This theme was much easier to work with than others I have tried (maybe I’m just getting used to how these things work?). I was actually able to simply follow the provided guide and get something I wanted instead of something I could work with.

Deploying

I ended up deploying the code to a private github repo for backup and using wrangler to deploy to Cloudlare pages directly.
